In this role, you'll build supportive relationships with employees at every level and across disciplines while managing all facets of benefits, leaves, accommodations, workers’ compensation, and compliance. In this role we will count on you to:
- Build trusting relationships with employees by offering clear, compassionate guidance on benefits, leaves, accommodations, and workplace policies.
- Administer health and wellness benefits, ensuring employees understand their options and have seamless access to coverage.
- Coordinate leaves of absence and reasonable accommodations with empathy and care, maintaining compliance with FMLA, ADA, and state-specific laws.
- Manage workers’ compensation cases with attention to employee wellbeing, safety, and program requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and employee data changes, collaborating with payroll and other partners to ensure integrity and timeliness.
- Support compliance and equity efforts by staying current on employment laws, preparing required reporting, completing compensation benchmarking surveys, and maintaining organized records.
- Responding to inquiries via the People team inbox, maintaining procedures documentation, and managing updates to the org chart.
- Contributing to a collaborative, proactive People & Culture team environment by supporting process management, continuous improvement, and shared team goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on benefits, leave administration, and compliance
- Experience with HRIS/HCM systems and benefits platforms
- Proficiency in all applications within Microsoft 365
- Advanced knowledge of multi-state employment law, especially as it relates to leave, accommodations, and benefits compliance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage different audiences
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

- This position is salaried and exempt from overtime; the annual salary range is $70,000 - $90,000
- Flexible hybrid work culture; Tuesdays and Thursdays in-office in Seattle
